Fashion Inspirations - Brook Shields (80s)

The 80s was the golden age for Hollywood, and one of my favourite actresses from the 80s, would be Brook Shields. Her fashion was ahead of her time and definitely continues to inspire my summer wardrobe.

A summer essential every girl should have in their closet would be a swimsuit. Although bikinis are popular, one piece swimsuits are truly timeless. This silhouette gives you the elegance and the sexiness. Always remember "less is more", this is especially true about exposure.

As e-boys and e-girls become popular, graphic tees are making a comeback, these casual t-shirts give off summer vibes without trying too hard. Pair it with some jeans or shorts to complete an everyday outfit.

Blazers are in, forever. A good tailored blazer can make any outfit chic. A linen blazer works best in summer heat.

When you do not know what colours to wear, choose monochrome. White is most preferred in summer as it does not catch heat as much as other colours.
